The guard’s quiet night shift is interrupted by a slight tremor — and a sudden power outage.
Any blackout is supposed to last only a moment, as the backup systems should start immediately.
But this time, the power doesn’t return.
Guards have been warned many times before:
“In case of emergency, keep the power cycle running at all costs.”
The guard descends into the basement to investigate why the backup system hasn’t activated.
The player character (PC) starts on the stairs — the heavy door closes behind them.
At the bottom of the stairs, a large wall map shows the layout of the basement.
Following the directions, the PC makes their way to the Control Panel Room.
Inside, it becomes clear that the backup systems haven’t started automatically — they need to be activated manually.
On a nearby table lies a Maintenance Instruction Sheet, listing the required steps:
The PC proceeds to the Fuel Pump Room.
On the way, one of the corridors is blocked — part of the ceiling has collapsed.
A few small beetles crawl along the floor, scattering when approached.
Inside the Fuel Pump Room, the main fuel valve is stuck — it can’t be turned by hand.
The PC heads toward the Tank Room, where a Pipe Wrench is clamped tightly onto one of the pipes.
When the wrench is removed, a faint hiss of escaping gas can be heard somewhere in the background.
The player now has the Pipe Wrench.
Returning to the Fuel Pump Room, the PC uses the wrench to finally turn the valve.
The fuel level in the tank near the generator begins to rise.
The PC proceeds to the Boiler Room.
There’s also a Guard Box (GB) on the wall — it requires a Guard Keycard to open and contains ammo.
Maintain the pressure level in the green zone on the Pressure Gauge for at least 10 seconds.
The PC enters the Generator Room, which contains the Distribution Panel.
There are six fuse slots:
The PC explores the basement in search of the remaining fuses.
Along the way, larger beetles appear — still not aggressive, but clearly restless.
The path leads through a small Workshop, where the PC finds the key to the Spare Parts Room.
Inside the Storage, the PC encounters the first large beetle — this one attacks.
After defeating it, the player finds one of the missing fuses.
From this side, the Storage includes a shortcut door leading directly back to the Control Panel Room.
Using the key, the PC unlocks the Spare Parts Room, which contains another fuse — and a Save Room.
The PC installs all the fuses and attempts to start the system.
However, the startup fails — the fuses are not in the correct positions.
The PC must solve the Fuse Puzzle.
Flow:
Goal:
Maintain the pressure level in the green zone on the Pressure Gauge for at least 10 seconds.
Each fuse provides a different output power (clearly marked on it).
Each slot corresponds to a different building section, each requiring a specific (but initially unknown) power level.
Once all fuses are inserted, the player can attempt to start the system by pressing the Start Button.
Feedback System:
When all lights are green, the network becomes powered — the generator roars to life, restoring partial power to the facility.
